Potrivit sciencedaily.com, un studiu american a descoperit ca tinerii de azi sunt cu 40% mai putin empatici decat cei din anii '80 si '90. Studiul a analizat 14.000 de participanti din mai multe perioade de timp si s-a bazat pe auto-evaluari, adica pe estimarea potrivirii dintre anumite enunturi si ei insisi ("I sometimes try to understand my friends better by imagining how things look from their perspective" si "I often have tender, concerned feelings for people less fortunate than me"). Paranteza: am ceva impotriva auto-evaluarilor, sunt inselatoare. Dar asta e o alta poveste.
